Job Descriptions:

Carpet Cleaning Associate
Position Summary: Assist the location Crew Chief in cleaning commercial and residential carpeting.

REPORTS TO: Crew Chief, Team Leader

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the loading, unloading, set up and tearing down of necessary equipment.
  • Perform basic carpet cleaning tasks under direct supervision, including (but not limited to) vacuuming, hand shampooing carpet edges, and pile brushing.
  • Assist Crew Chief with moving furniture and household items.
  • Assist Crew Chief with operating the extractor.
  • Find job locations using a street guide and address provided.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
  • Assist in the mixing of cleaning agents.
  • Assist with building/vehicle maintenance as requires.
  • Backup for water restoration division.
  • Assist in other departments as necessary.
  • Other duties as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Majority of the work is performed in the field (residential and commercial sites). Some work is performed at the warehouse and at the home office (vehicle maintenance, paperwork, staff meetings).
  • Overtime is mandatory. Hours include some weekends and evenings
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds in front of body and overhead
  • Must be able to crawl/work on hands and knees for short assignments and over a continuous period of time
  • Must be able to work on a ladder with hands over head for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to physically tolerate chemicals that fall within approved OSHA standards
  • Must be able to squat while bearing weight
  • Must possess average visual and auditory acuity
  • Must be able to push/pull equipment up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
  • Must be able to travel occasionally.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to work the necessary hours to include some nights, weekends, holidays and out of town
  • Ability to pass a Drug Screen

Electronics Restoration Coordinator
Position Summary: Test, troubleshoot, repair and restore electronic equipment, parts and components as well as direct activities of others assisting in the electronics restoration department.

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager of Fire Restoration

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Have prior knowledge of the technical workings of electrical equipment, including, but not limited to, the knowledge of how to disassemble and reassemble electrical equipment to its original working state.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks in including, but not limited to, dismantling televisions, stereos, computers, laptops, copy machines, and fax machines and applying OSHA approved cleaners and disinfectants then reassembling the equipment to its original working state
  • Inspect functionality of electronic equipment, parts, and components to evaluate performance under actual operating conditions
  • Troubleshoot and identify any current or potential electronic problems with any equipment, parts, and components
  • Develop proper procedures for any adjustments, repairs, and restoration of electronics
  • Direct activities of others assisting in the electronics restoration department
OTHER FUNCTIONS
  • Mix cleaning agents
  • Load and unload necessary equipment
  • Assist in the inventorying and packing of items for transport to the warehouse
  • Maintain vehicles and equipment as required
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings
  • Assist in other departments as necessary
  • Other duties as required

Water Restoration Associate
Position Summary: Perform general Water Restoration cleaning duties under the direct supervision of the Restoration Crew Chief.

REPORTS TO: Water Crew Chief, Water Production Supervisor, Restoration Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the loading, unloading, set up and tearing down of necessary equipment.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks in the field under direct supervision, including (but not limited to) sweeping and mopping of floors, washing ceilings and walls, applying OSHA approved cleaners and disinfectants, extracting water using portable an truck-mounted equipment, and clearing debris from the job site.
  • Assist in inventorying and packing items for transport to the cleaning plant.
  • Perform basic cleaning of items at the cleaning plant under direct supervision.
